10/11 At The MRKT: The Gastrobus, October Sun Plums, Live Music – Rain Or Shine!
The seasons, they are a changin’! Despite the threat of showers, the MRKT is open tonight – and every Thursday – rain or shine! Tents will be available in the supper garden to shield you from any roving rain should you wish to dine outside.
The Gastrobus is presenting this week’s chef dinner using produce and ingredients sourced from Shear Rock Farm, Polito Farm, Moua Farm and Soledad Goat Cheese. The menu includes:
SNACKS
Cherry tomato, cucumber & farro salad
Soledad’s goats cheese & tomato vinaigrette
Corn flapjacks
Farmstead cheese & scallions
Stuffed avocado
Brown rice, kale, seeds, raisins & sesame dressing
SANDWICHES
Ecuadorian Pulled pork sandwich
Pickled onions, garlic aioli & cilantro
Rustic heirloom tomato tart
Caramelized onions, olives & Gruyere
Spiced pumpkin soup
With jalapeño grilled cheese sandwich
Pair your dinner with a glass of wine from Bonterra certified organic winery or a craft brew from Lagunitas.
